We are so grateful for Heather! Our 1 year old dog, Axel did the 4 week board and train with Heather and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We were nervous to send Axel away for such a long time but, we knew he needed some professional help with leash & house manners. Axel came back a different boy and he is so happy to show off all of his new skills! Pulling on the leash? That’s old news! What training services do you offer?
At New Beginnings K9 Training, we offer personalized training programs for dogs of all ages and experience levels. Our services include puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, private lessons, board-and-train programs, and reactivity training. Every program is tailored to your dog’s individual needs and your goals.
What’s the difference between private lessons and board and train?
Private lessons allow you to work directly with your trainer while practicing skills with your dog between sessions. Board and train provides a more immersive experience where we establish the training foundation before teaching you how to maintain it at home. Both options include follow-up lessons and lifetime trainer support!
Can you help with reactive or challenging dogs?
Absolutely! We work with dogs experiencing leash reactivity, excessive barking, overexcitement, and other behavioral challenges. Every dog is evaluated individually so we can recommend the most appropriate training approach based on their needs.
What training methods do you use?
We use a balanced training approach that combines positive reinforcement, clear communication, structure, and fair corrections when appropriate. We believe every dog is different, so our training methods and tools are selected based on what works best for each individual dog.
